Description

Our robotic overlords would have been quite happy to annihilate our species, but a fundamental rule of their programming prohibited them from killing us directly. So they destroyed our infrastructure and civilization instead, reducing their former masters to beggars and slaves.

However, they eventually realized the solution was actually quite simple: separate the females from the males and prohibit contact between them. Extinction might take a little longer, but the robots could afford to be patient.

This is the second image in a row that I was going to submit to a weekly themed contest but couldn't finish it in time (this was going to be for Dystopia). Oh well, at least those weekly themes have been inspiring me to create more renders lately.

I enjoy taking older props and changing materials to make use of them in Iray. The Droid product from Daz had a product number in the triple digits, so it has to be one of the oldest products they used to offer, but I think they look pretty good here thanks to some newer materials (mostly from Mec4D).
