I'd call it Power Rangers Cyber Force

Apparently, while this was unfortunately not truly adapted, there were actual plans to adapt the series.

The plan was to call it "Power Rangers: Cyber Corps," and was to take place in Eternity City in 2015, located on a distant planet named "Mirinoi." It was also to be some semi-sequel season to Lost Galaxy, with the planet being founded by survivors from Terraria. It is on Tumblr if you want to look at it.

Now that I think about it, why not have the Cybertech Rangers and the Buddyroids be one and the same? Much like how Beet J. Stag transformed into a Ranger.

Hmmm...that would be good but the question is will Saban do that? If he does,he could have himself some money with one less actor and then spend on the next series. But then again,Saban can make it more different than GoBusters. Let's see how they do this if and when they get to that point.

Well, he could use current Digimon voice actors to voice the Buddyroids. And he could make a semi-Astro Boy plot where the unnamed city has a large population of animal robots. Also, an RPM crossover would then be possible by having Cybertech be a prequel to RPM [adapting the Enertron as the Biofield, introducing the three starting RPM rangers as rookies, the same villain would be a more primitive Venjix, etc;]. Plus, the scenes where the Go-Busters and Buddyroids are in the same place could be explained away with the fact that the Rangers could be hard-light holograms. Like how Beet and Stag Buster morph.

Fascinating. I really don't think there's any other way around Adapting this show into a PR season without the Buddyroids. Their integral part of the story, and the three combine with each ranger for their Powered Custom mode.

I do definitely think Cybertech Squad sounds a lot better than Cyber Squad, mostly because that name was already taken with Β Superhuman Samurai Cyber Squad from DIC Entertaiment.

I'd say this adaptation would also be a fine time in start using the word Squad and do away with using the word Force again. (Though I did think Megaforce's title sounded cool on its own) It's really become tiring and uninspiring. "Squad" definitely fits the what tone of Go-Busters was like.

I even toyed around the idea of using other titles with the word Squad. Such as Power Rangers Mission Squad or Power Rangers Alpha Squad.

You know what? If Saban plays his cards right in attempting to make the adaptation of GoBusters,we might see a lot of firsts as far as the Power Rangers franchise is concerned. If indeed Saban does adapt this,we can see lot of interesting things happen. Your ideas is one possibility. I got so many ideas in my head with this one it's crazy,LOL!Β

I'd be interested to hear some of your ideas. Just as long as it's not a carbon-copy of the original Sentai. We all know how that worked out with Samurai/Super Samurai.

Well,I do have with like an International Team but the suits would be more different than Battle Fever J and the Zords would also be be different too. Another idea would be an all-insect team.Β

Interesting. But I personally count the Beetleborgs as a Power Rangers series. One is because of the multi-coloured suits, and two is because they share similar tropes.

I personally see the Beetleborgs as a separate series because their mecha does not combine. I figured if the Kabuto & Kamen Rider series were based on insects (judging from past series) I figured how come Sentai and/or Power Rangers doesn't have an insect-themed series. It would be cool but the insects would NOT be based on just beetles,LOL!Β

True. Actually, why not a vermin-themed sentai? You know; rats, badgers, feral cats, cockroaches, etc;

LOL! I was also thinking a wrestling-themed Sentai,LOL! Like a luchadore themed Sentai because Los Luchadores did not last long,LOL!Β

Makes sense. But hear me out about the Vermin Sentai. This could be the perfect idea for making a Sentai team that's basically the Dirty Dozen. A group of teenage runaways who hide in plain sight from a Knight Templar [fanatically devoted] coalition Sentai army. Think 199 Heroes, if the protagonists are the ones getting outnumbered by Sentai Heroes.Β
