Triasslya is a world that mirrors the past of our own. Within its many vast deserts lies a somewhat common scene. Amongst the plants budding out to take advantage of the incoming wet season there is something else growing... a stench. The smell is powerful and can be detected by just about anything with a nose within this large radius, this fact is something the Whip-tailed Raui are all too aware of.
These early derived crocodylomorphs have joined together to kill this large Dicynodont sow, the notable trophy has caused much squabble between these wicked hunters. While it is true that they killed this old creature together it also remains true that they only combined forces out of opportunity. This same opportunity has since passed and now it's every Pseudosuchian for themselves as they form a small hierarchy around the kill.
These swift flesh seekers are completely aware of the fact that there are many larger desert predators that will not hesitate to take this trophy for themselves. This is largely why the crafty Whip-tailed Raui have developed such advanced social interactions, not to cooperate better during kills or hunting; but instead to set the ranks of each Raui quickly and efficiently so that feeding can go a lot faster. Now all the parties involved are more likely to get somewhat of a fill.
