So spiffy.

I wanted to do something fun for Halloween and I thought, why not take the bantams out "trick-or-treating"? Obviously I couldn't take them real trick-or-treating, but I did dress them up in their costumes, put their harnesses on, and walked them around out front with some hen treats for them.

Saphira's "costume" was a little tricky. She's too tiny for any store-bought harness to work, so I had to make a make-shift harness out of the same shirt Baoji's handkerchief was made out of (attaching the leash to it was a challenge!). As for her costume, I wanted to make it quick and simple so as to have time to take them for a little walk before it got dark (aka: their bedtime). So I figured a cute bow would be perfect. Turns out it was! It took her some getting used to but Saphira eventually got comfortable enough in her cute little outfit to play around with Baoji.
