Well guys, I was wanting to see about going another month or so but I'm starting to think this might be my last one. I wanted to take a cute and unique picture for her last one, but taking this one was actually kind of sad. Baoji isn't used to getting her picture taken anymore. It was easy before because Saphira had one of my siblings to keep her company and Baoji was used to it. Now, she seems to be just confused as to why I would separate her from her baby and force her to stay still rather than let her play (or snuggle).

Saphira usually cries (aka: the saddest noise a little chicken could ever make) the moment Baoji is taken from her - unless she has a human to play with - and as sad as it sounds, she is a bit of a drama queen. Baoji never really cried, though, until today. She literally was making the most noise I've ever heard her make (basically normal for a normal chicken, but loud for a silkie) while looking around frantically for Saphira and it really made me sad. Saphira's the drama queen not Baoji. Maybe I'm also being a drama queen, but when my usually quiet sweet little baby starts crying, things get real!

Another reason why I'm thinking about this being my last picture is the fact that between weeks, Baoji didn't really seem to change all that much. I've also noticed that the reason why a lot of other people's silkies are extremely fluffy is that it's common to give your silkie baths and lots of people use shampoos to make their feathers cute and fluffy. While it looks adorable and Baoji would look especially fabulous if I were to do that, it also makes it hard for silkies to see. I kinda...want Baoji to see.

Whether this is fully true or not - and whether or not Baoji's afro will actually get bigger - I still feel like it's about time to be done. Like I've mentioned previously, I was able to capture the biggest transition, which is what I wanted, and now it seems almost pointless.

I dunno, what do you guys think? Are you all cool with me ending? And if so, should I end on this note or should I get one more cute picture that's a little different from how I've been doing things?
