What can I say...I am a sucker for mangled trees - they are a metaphor for so many things... in some ways they are also a literal... !! Hope all is going well!

yeah, dead trees are the symbols of such a many sad things, that I guess many people are thick and tired of them))
this mighty oak tree is located on the territory of the Astronomic Observatory, where my good friend is working and living. and gosh, really, there is a sad story about it!))) this observatory is now near it's closing, maybe in one year this territory will be abondoned, so the tree is a symbol of the miserable fate of science in my poor country))
that's the example. mangled trees are ALWAYS the symbols of some bad things, everything is connected, so it's a rule)))

My brother has to visit other countries to do his research. I figure... he can't research particle physics here, and NASA is shutting down the space shuttle...the USA can't be the hot spot for science! Oh well, maybe I am wrong...we still have 3M, so... maybe we will still study glue. Maybe. lol.
