"Fine. I'll *caw* distract him. You just fo*caw*s on catching him *caw*t it?"

I hold back from laughing. "O-okay..."

I glared at you, annoyed
"Ha *caw*..... I'll get you back f*caw*r that."
I said before making my way around the clearing Apprentice was in to distract him

I move slowly towards him. He notices me; he pulls down his bandana. "Go away, wild kirlia. I'm tryin' to get some res--" 'oh no.' I think. "Oh... OOOOOH. It's you. My "creator"." He smirks.

I reach the other side of the clearing and start to caw

He glanced up at you. "And I suppose that's your frie--" he stops in his tracks, as he begins to levitate withing a violet glow. I seem to be struggling to maintain this, but I stay strong. "Change us back, Apprentice. NOW."

I clumsily hurried back to your side
"Yeah! Turn us ba*caw*k! This isn't funny! *caw*"

"..Ummmmm.....No." he says flatly.

I glared at him. You sense a wave of heat coming off of me
"You will *caw* unless you want me to *caw* attack you!"

"pssshhhh, please. Only thing I have to do to put you down is get a glass of water." I begin panting a bit, tired.

"Hang in *caw* there....." I said softly to you before approaching Apprentice menacingly
"You'll change *caw* us back or I'll personally *caw* make sure that you'll *caw* regret ever doing this to us!"

"well... Go ahead then. 'Cause I'm not changing either of you back." He says blankly.

I lose my cool, literally
"WHAT?! WHY?! *CAW* WHY WOULD YOU DO *CAW* THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE?! *CAW*" A wave of heat blasts through the clearing, instantly vaporizing any moisture in the air

He was waiting for this; the moisture is gone. I can't breathe enough, and I collapse, relieving him of his psychic boundaries. He begins to sprint incredibly fast in the opposite direction.

I turned around and rushed to your side
"No!"
I turned my head back angrily glaring in his direction
"I'M GOING TO *CAW* TRACK YOU DOWN TILL I AM *CAW* A DEAD MAN!"

I cradled you with my wing, ashamed of what I just did

I looked around the dry clearing and fly a short distance to gather some supplies to help support you

I lay unconscious.

I managed to gather some Revival Herbs and Berries before bringing them back to you

I had been sweating, even before your heatwave. I looked miserable.

I got a rather large leaf and crushed the Revival Herbs and Sitrus Berries with only claws onto it before slowly feeding you it.

Eventually, I swallow. I slowly stir.

I manage to dilute the bitterness of the Revival Herb with the Sitrus Berries, both of which slowly helped you regain your energy

"h....Hngh.......Oooh...." I sit up. "...Two blackouts in an hour....That's a record..." I smile weakly.

I smile and gently help you finish the rest of the mixture

"...tastes...okay.....wh--" I look around frantically. "W-where's the Apprentice--?!"

"I..... I let him get away..... I couldn't just leave you here......" I said quietly

"....that was our only chance of having our lives back.....I'm not important enough to let the person who did this to BOTH of us get away..." A dark shadow crosses my face.

I flinch and hang my head down shamefully
"I'm sorry...... I'll go find him now....." I said

"N-no...you..you'll never find him..." A few tears roll down my face from under my bangs. I wasn't angry...I was sad.

I gently wrapped a wing around you
"I..... I'm sorry..... I'll..... I do my best to find him......"

I gently nudge you before backing up and flapping my wings unsteadily

I remain in silence, doing absolutely nothing but watching my tears fall to the ground.

Eventually, you fly above the trees. The wind picks up a little. Its seems to be a solid border between rural/urban civilization and forest. The Apprentice is nowhere in sight.

I flew in the direction I previously saw him run off in and did my best with my vision to try and spot any trace of him

He was wearing neon orange--he couldn't be that hard to spot... and yet, there was nothing.

I kept flying, trying my hardest to find him. I couldn't spare to let you down again

'Yes, you can. Please, come back down. He's gone. He teleported.' A voice says in your head--mine.

I'm not going to give up. I thought. He may teleport but I'll still track him down.

Suddenly, you spot him. The neon jacket paid off; he is several miles away.

I found him! I thought excitedly, starting to fly in that direction rapidly
