Examples of personality change include being messy instead of neat, being brave and outgoing instead of cowardly and shy, etc. This change is immediate. By the time they wake up from unconsciousness (caused by blood loss due to the process of being turned), the change has been completed. Since they don't remember who they are, most times, they are given new names by their creator. When they are called that name, they assume it's themselves. They remember no one but their creator, although they may think their parents and siblings look familiar, they still do not remember them. There may be exceptions to memory, like scarring memories such as abuse, rape, and torture (very unlikely things). If they think they see the people who do this to them, they will seek the revenge that they were afraid to seek when human.
