Description
Humans that have been fused with demons who now fight for good.
Ghost Rider: Originally a motorcycle stuntman in a circus show, Johnny Blaze sold his soul to Mephisto in an attempt to save his surrogate father from Death. He is the host of the demon Zarathos, the Spirit of Vengeance, and with it holds many hellish powers, including control over hellfire, enough physical strength to go toe to toe with the Hulk, and most famously his Penance Stare.
Spawn: Once a CIA agent, Al Simmons was murdered by a man he thought was his friend. He sold his soul to the demon Malebolgia in order to see his wife again. Coming back five years after his death as a hellspawn, Al fights for survival against the forces of Heaven and Hell. Spawn is immune to all forms of Earthly damage, and can only be killed by a holy weapon.

Plus ghost riders chain is like his only weapon which is demonic not holy however the vengeance stare might stand a chance assuming he can get spawn to hold still enough to use it

As powerful as spawn is its his choices in using that power that keeps him from beating GR as soon as Spawn lets his guard down which is an inevitable course of action Ghost Rider hits him with the penance stare and its good bye Al not to mention Spawns magics are useless against Blaze since he has a high tolerance for magic good fight none the less

I think Ghost Rider has this, his powers are unearthly and from a source from Heaven, so even if the Penance Stare doesn't work, and some people seem to think he's helpless without it, his hellfire will, and he's endured damage from beings supernatural and mundane with far more destructive powers than Spawn.

Well, the Penance Stare does affect the victim's soul and it's never been confirmed nor denied if Al Simmon's soul returned when he came back as Spawn, so there is a possibility that it would. However, there is an equal possibility that it wouldn't.

Penance Stare wouldn't work. Spawn's suit is alive, but a soulless demon, and a GH vs Venom fight in the comics showed that a living suit is what'd be affected not the wearer. Since The suit has no soul to burn, it'd ignore the affects completely. Now if GH could somehow remove the mask then the other 665 souls that exist inside of Spawn [regardless of Simmon's soul being there or not] would burn.

I don't think that's a huge deal, he's won without using it so it's not like he's helpless if it doesn't work like that stupid movie depicted him as.
