I loved the comic, I have say I like the movie but not as much as the comic.

Alan Moore never likes any movies based on his comic books. :] Maybe for a good reason, but I did love V for Vendetta.

I can't wait to see this movie! His comics always turn into great movies even if they don't quite match up. Loved both the V for Vendetta comic and movie even though they were essentially two different stories.

lol Alan always says that about the movies. I can't help but wonder whether or not he really feels that way or if he just says it to please all his (annoyingly stuck up) "hard-core" fans.

Oh he really feels that way lol. I mean he's right, the Watchmen movie will only be Zach's version of Watchmen, not Alan's. There is no possible way to make it into a movie and make it just exactly as epic as the comic, I think. But I cannot wait to see it, for I love the director <3

Yeah you really can't ever expect a movie to match a book. Even if they made the movie ten hours long and painstakingly went for every detail there would always be something wrong with it or individuals would be bothered that it didn't match their feelings or their image of the story. The best you can wish for is a good book-movie, which all of Alan Moore's book-movies have been so far assuming VFV and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen are his only other ones.
