     "We can't just leave them tied up..." Desmond made a point of this as he approached the group of modern assassins. Altair seemed to be stuck in a daze, stuck in disbelief of his situation. Desmond couldn't imagine what it must feel like to be in their situation. Ezio still laid passed out, leaning against the cold wall. His face was completely visible, as his hood was down. When Altair's gaze traveled to Ezio, fear seemed to strike in his eyes for a moment.

      "What, are you going to talk to them, Desmond? I'm sure that'll work out GREAT." Shaun said with a sarcastic tone.

      "Yeah, I will. You can take their weapons to another room. I'LL untie them and you guys can get when you need to get done, done." Desmond leaned against the wall. His body wasn't in as much pain,but he realized most of the pain was focused on one side of his body.

     "But, Desmond...you ARE injured and what if they try something?" Lucy uttered in a concerned tone.

     "They won't." He answered with full confidence.

       "If anything funny starts," Rebecca began, "don't hesitate to signal us one way or another."

      Rebecca, Shaun, and Lucy lugged out the men's armor and weaponry, shutting the door tight behind them. Ezio began squirming.

       "Let me go, BASTARDO!" Ezio shrieked while Desmond faced away from the two. Ezio had yet to see this man.

      "There is no point in yelling." Altair spoke to Ezio as if he were beneath him. In a sense, he was.

      "Who the hell...?!" Ezio stopped as he faced Altair. They did have an uncanny resemblance. Ezio recognized him as one of the greatest Assassin he had heard of.

      "Look, its okay..." Before Desmond could finish his sentence, Altair cut him off.

       "How is it okay? We are tied up, after all..."

      "Right, well..." Desmond limped towards the tied up assassins and removed their restraints.

       "I don't understand what's going on. Perche e come?" Ezio rubbed his wrists, finally being free. "And how is it I can speak this language?" Ezio stood up and stared at the other two men. It was shocking to him just how similar they looked.

       "I'm not entirely sure...but I guess introductions are important. Well, I'm Desmond..."

        Ezio shook his hand out of politeness. Desmond...where had he heard this name before? He couldn't quite put his finger on it. "Lo sono Ezio..." he smiled lightly.

        "I am Altair..." Altair leaned against the wall and didn't let his hand out for either man. "Tell me what's going on."

        "I really don't know,but...this time....the world isn't like how you remember it...."Desmond wasn't quite sure how to explain it.

       "What year is it?" Altair demanded.

        "2012." Desmond replied.

        "Ahha.....very funny." Ezio patted Desmond on the shoulder.

         "It is true...." Desmond said trying to sound sympathetic. Ezio didn't reply,but his eyes became wide. Not only did all three of these men look similar, not only could he speak a language he previously couldn't, not only was he thrown into what seemed like a unknown world and was disarmed, but now he was told that basically 600 years have passed for his time?

         "Prove it." Altair said coldly. He wasn't sure how he should feel just yet.
