   "What a sad story..." Quorra said, closing another massive book. She loved to read both fiction and nonfiction, but tragedies seemed to be her favorite. She was breezing through Shakespeare's classics as though they were children's picture books with titles like "Bink Says Boo." She sat at a large wooden table in the center of the library, flipping through yet another monster sized book. She began flipping through the pages effortlessly, processing the information at lightning speed.

   Sam walked through the seemingly countless isles of bookshelves, his eyes scanning the binds as he slowly mouthed the titles of those that proved to be slightly intriguing. He always had a habit of mouthing whatever he read. He pulled out a book on world records, slightly interested, and walked back to the table that he and Quorra occupied.

   "So...anything good?" Sam whispered to her quietly.

   "OH IT WAS TERRIBLE! I couldn't BELIEVE THAT THEY-" Quorra made Sam jump with the booming noises that escaped her small figure. Not to mention they WERE in a library.

   "SHHH!" The librarian motioned to Quorra politely. Her face became beet red. Sam chuckled lightly and winked at her over his book. She giggled in response. She was so cute and innocent. He had to protect her at any and all costs. But...how would they change the world without blowing her cover? The things the government might try to do...or criminals...or anyone else who could have dark intentions. He shook the thought out of his mind.

    After their weekly library visit, Sam posed a question to Quorra.She sat in front of her computer researching about William Shakespeare's personal life when Sam had entered her room, leaning against the door frame, coolly.

    "Wanna go out to eat tonight?" He smiled at her dumbfounded expression.

    "B-but..Sam, it'll be dark out. We already stayed out later than we should've when we went to the beach. And...besides I've never been out to eat before. What if I screw it up?" Quorra said the last part with a bashful expression on her face.

     "Come on, Quorra, you're not a little kid. But...if you don't want to go we can just stay in..." Sam teased her.

    "No! No, I do wanna go out to eat!" She readily replied as she maneuvered from her chair in front of the desk to her bed.

    "Ha, that's what I thought." Sam sat down next to her and nudged her shoulder slightly. "Anything particular you want to eat?" He smiled and her face began to contort into thought.

    "OH! I know! THAT PLACE WE DRIVE BY EVERYDAY TO THE LIBRARY AND TO THE TOPS!" She nearly screamed in his ears, which he covered to muffle the sound.

    "Olive Garden?" Sam asked her, although he knew the answer. She nodded frantically. "Alright...we can go." He went to stand up.

   "OH I HAVE TO LOOK PRETTY! SAM, PLEASE GO!" She began to push him out of the small living space and slammed the door behind him.

   "Well damn."


   Quorra exited her room some 40 minutes later. She was glowing...almost literally. Her eyes were dazzled with pale blue eye shadow as she wore a matching v-neck and slick tight jeans whilst dawning her boots that made her the same height as Sam. It was warm out, no need for a jacket, so her arms were decorated with beautiful blue bracelets.

   "Well don't you look cute?" Sam grinned, looking up at her from the comfy couch.

   "Aw, thank you Sam. You look handsome, as always. I'm ready to go when you are!" She uttered excitedly.

   "Let's get going, then."

   Quorra and Sam chatted and laughed and giggled like they had known each other since they were children. Bread sticks,salad, pasta, and wine of all varieties were passed between the two as their relationship grew. It was such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Sam wished he could be at peace like this all the time,but...it wouldn't be possible.

   The happiness was short-lived. As the duo readied for sleep, the phone range. Sam answered.

   "Listen, Sam...we need you down at Encom Tower tomorrow." Alan's voice spoke calmly through the phone. "The board is just loving the fact you put me in charge."

   Sam paused. Dammit. "A-alright...Quorra and I will be in tomorrow, first thing."
