Description
So as I'm still working on Space Helga, I've found that doing some (relatively) quick studies from some 2D and 3D films really help getting the juices flowing. Just focusing on particular elements from the clip and leaving the rest quite rough. I can't overstate how useful I find this. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't teach me how to animate any of my own stuff, but just like studying comic artists' styles etc, I've found that studying other animators' modus operandi to be equally useful. AND you can see what's wrong with yours whilst comparing notes with the real masters.
Anyway, what are your thoughts on it?

Thank you very much! And you're right, of course, never stop learning from people who rock at what they do.
