I had a dream like everyone else in the world. But I was one of the few who couldn't bear the long distance filled with despair between my dream and I. So, I cut myself off. I cut myself of from the demanding voices, the cold shoulders, and the turned backs. And that very moment was beautiful. It was everything, but in reality, it was nothing at all. It was a bright piece of printer paper waiting for me to sketch all my hopes and desires on to it. But I didn't have time for another thought to cross my mind before it was too late. I moved on to another world. Another life. The new life was almost a duplicate of the last, but something was missing. I could think up a dream and it would be true. There was no chasing it. There was no middle step. No hard work to get to it. No mistakes. No learning. If I thought back I had no regrets of the choices I made in my first life. Not even the one that brought me here. The only regret I held was the one that I didn't fill in that one piece of paper. I didn't step forward to that new beginning. My only desire now is that someone bigger than me, better than me, will take that one step.
