Description
The General and Amigo Bear have never been on friendly terms with one another. Klaus hasn't forgotten or forgiven the incident at the Rainbow River and is still deeply reluctant to trust the moral character of any bear who's willing to try and immigrate illegally into Care-a-lot and thus he goes out of his way to keep close tabs on the orange ursine with traditional German thoroughness and attention to detail.

Although tensions between the two are as much a part of everyday life in the Kingdom of Caring as dusk and dawn, every once in a while, usually when Amigo shirks a caring mission or mutters anything that sounds suspiciously like an insult under his breath while Klaus is within hearing range, something'll spark off a fuse in his Nazi nugget and he'll just... let me put it this way: have you ever heard of someone "throwing a fit"? Well, Klaus doesn't "throw fits", he "launches blitzkriegs".

Last Thursday was one such day at the Hall of Hearts. I had arrived on the scene a bit too late to ascertain exactly what had set him off this time, and since the old war bird was howling at the top of his voice (mostly in German, but with some English thrown in) he was a bit difficult to understand, but I reckon I caught enough of it to know that Amigo had had the misfortune of giving The General just a little too much sass while Klaus was in one of those "I double dare you to talk scheiß about Der Führer to mein face" moods. I also caught some babble about a "brazen bull" (whatever that is), and a cage full of disgruntled army ants and starved rats. Well anyway, judging by the look on his face, Amigo caught all that as well as I. He's been awfully civil since then. Jumpy, too.
