Ya, this solar cycle has been a slow one to wind up... should start getting better now! hopefully with some stronger ones to come that push more south

Yes, especially when it's activity and motion peaks. I'm still working on somehow photographing it in a way that can portray the experience of seeing it. But that might not be possible haha.

Very close to the border of Wood Buffalo National Park. This was taken in a sort of clearing near the 9km hiking trail at Salt River. Alberta, Canada.
