This took me far longer than it should have, and it'll probably be my last work posted until I get a graphics tablet. I have a mountain of projects I owe people that I can't complete in any efficient way until I do. I also need a new computer. Working on this caused my current one to crash too many times to count. I wasn't going to post this until I got what I needed, but I figured I haven't posted anything of my own for quite some time, and it wouldn't hurt to post more Moriah for those of you who've been asking.But enough of "woe-is-me" and onto this drawing.
I owe an endless well of a whole lot of gratitude for helping me really overhaul this. The original final version of this looked surprisingly one-dimensional, if not for his help.Β He gave more than a few pointers, and some of the major lighting elements are essentially his own handywork (which would kind of make this a collaboration, I guess?). I've learned *a lot* about lighting from studying his work, and even more from the advice he's given me. I also owe for indirectly helping me improve my lines
, and for also indirectly reminding me of how deep my own OC's tan is supposed to be...I had the idea for this drawing after watching an episode of American Dad (a big piece of chicken for anyone who can guess which), and I decided to do a sort of take-off of Sleepy's commission of Moriah he did for me some time back. While his commission showed her hard at work in her detective days, this shows her slightly less enthused in the tedium of her current job as an Assistant District Attorney, never without her coffee.
While she'd usually be a little shy about propping those big feet up around anyone she knew wouldn't enjoy the sight, when she's alone, and after a long day in her old heels, she's been known to make herself comfy...maybe after opening a window or two, though.

I recently came across your OC Moriah here for the first time based on the recommendation pictures that are shown on the right side of the screen when viewing any other particular image, and I have to say, Moriah is definitely one of the better OCs on DA in the foot fetish genre that I've come across.Β
I make this comment on the page of this image specifically because I think this particular image of her is where she looks her/the best, in my opinion. The detail and verisimilitude is utterly phenomenal. I certainly hope this isn't the last we see of Moriah because I think she is too good of a character to put to bed, so to speak. There's so much content with her that can be explored.Β
The images of her that sleepygimp did are also phenomenal. I especially like the comic strip he did of her in which "The Sniffer" gets a face full of Moriah's big as* bare soles. It'd be interesting to see more interactions between Moriah and the "The Sniffer".
I read her background story and biography on the page of the first rendition that you did of her, and I really love the detail that you put into it. If you have anymore background information on Moriah regarding her feet, or stories from other foot fetish experiences she's had that haven't already been posted here on DA, I'd certainly love to read them.Β

Oh, what a delightful way to conclude 2016!Β Β I really wasn't expecting to see the return of Moriah and only now I realize how much I missed this blue-eyed, tall, busty, leggy, big-footed, tanned beauty!

Despite almost losing one member of our group to the joys of Irish whiskey, I came up unscathed and merry from the new year celebrations along the streets (and into the pubs) of Florence and even inaugurated 2017 with a 2-1 victory in a 3-round game of table football! The expectations were met and even surpassed! Β
But enough talking about me, let's talk about you, since every time I see your most recent deviation some new detail gets my attention and I can appreciate how much you progressed as an artist and colourist since the first Moriah pic in your gallery. And just to be clear, not simply because your OC, from being "just" drop-dead gorgeous, has evolved with this pic into an almost divine beauty (if the Greek sculptors of old had shared our very personal beauty canon, I'm sure their creations would have looked not too different than Moriah ). No! Between the almost real-life feeling of Moriah's skin (those soles and legs look like they're made of something that is much more tactile than digital ink on digital paper) to the attention to background details to the perfect atmosphere created by a very well-conceived organisation of environment lighting, I think I'm looking to one of my favourite deviations featuring in my "favourites" gallery! To cut the long story short, you worked magic with this deviation, tf, and you set a new, extremely high standard that I hope to see in many more pictures to come, even if only as a colourist (hint, hint ).

I sincerely, deeply hope that my comments on your infinitely better work even come close to inspiring the same feeling yours did here! I found myself particularly obsessed with getting Moriah "right" with this one. By your account, she was never wrong, and I somehow stumbled upon making her all the better! SleepyGimp clued me in on the key: her eyes! While I can only wish we lived in a world where Praxiteles also counted beauty below the ankle, I'm more than glad I could by the skin of my teeth produce something worthy of the compliment.

One of the best things is that even if you didn't write it in the description explicitely, I'd know that her feet are beautifully big - it shows perfectly from the overall proportions, their shape, and how they radiate feminine beauty and the kind of "power" only big feet have
Her soles look really soft, and the wrinkliness was always one of my weaknesses towards feet
As for the nice force perspective: it turned out excellently! There is a depth to the picture I believe in two stages: one's from the background until Moriah's feet, and the second (my favorite) is from the edge of the desk until the tip of Moriah's toenails. It's almost as if I could reach out and hold her bare foot in my hands
All in all, this is an excellent artwork, Tom, and it was really good to see something new from you
