Quick and dirty color study to illustrate how I envisioned the cheliped prosthetics employed in combat. The (crab) arms are more like a flail, or a segmented scythe with multiple hinge joints; the fighter can swing them around, or snap them open or closed via the momentum of his upper body, but the limbs themselves aren't under direct refined control.
