“Oh let him find a car he likes his old job is likely to be harsh he should have a decent private space before trading resources on the open market,” Jessica replied. “He has those Telomere extension treatments done he will be fine.”

“You are right but I never wanted him to go back to work. He did so much but I wish he’d be more relaxed. Then again he could be going through puberty again,” Elizabeth said finding some relief in her father’s maturity.

Before Jessica could show Elizabeth the outfit a car horn could be heard in the driveway. “Well I guess dad is back well let’s all see grandpa’s new car,” Elizabeth said as Cole quickly abandoned his homework.

Allen slowly pulled the car into the driveway. It was a sleek dark blue car low enough to the ground Cole could look his grandpa in the eye. The turbine engine ceased its low pitched whine. Jessica gave the car a wide birth as Elizabeth did her best to hold Cole back only to lose control as the car came to a complete stop.

“It’s so cool can I ride in it too school,” Cole shouted touching the car’s fender as Allen stepped out.

“Sure buddy I don’t see why not,” Allen said as Cole’s eyes widened.

Elizabeth had no clue what to say her dad likely emptied out his entire life savings on a car. She expected something a bit flashy but nothing so expensive. Her mouth was open in shock at the sheer audacity her father would buy something like this. “No Cole this thing is way too dangerous,” Elizabeth scolded.

“Oh it will be fine I won’t max out the speed with him in the car. Plus with a speed of 460kph I can get to the city with ease,” Allen explained to his daughter.

“You just bought a super car made to compete in endurance racing this thing is like a house in price,” Elizabeth said.

“I will make it back in week,” Allen said as Cole ran his hands along the carbon fiber, and Kevlar body.
