The Gyre Federation's most numerous warship. The Tiger class is one of the newest class corvettes the Gyrans in the 61st and 62nd centuries. What looks more like an over sized exo/endo atmospheric fighter/attack craft to some galactic empires is in fact a long range assault corvette. What is largely unknown even to Allies like the Thebeans and NPE is that the craft is armed and armored to the level equaling a heavy frigate. Gyran corvettes feature systems HBT(Hydrogen Barium Titanium) power cores that are equal in size many Imperial or Thebean fighters with power out puts of Frigates. The CY Hyperspace Drives are also smaller and faster than most empires. These Ships have quarters and amenities to accomidate for 15 people comfortably; however, it can house up to 100 people in emergency cases. The comfortable situation for the crew is the due to the androids who perform the heavy lifting. The Corsair Force is the primary user of the Tiger Class, but an unknown number serve in the defense and scout fleet. Corsair assaults have been witnessed by almost every government and pirate group alike, however it is nearly impossible to track each Corsair. While each man is given diplomatic immunity he must first prove he deserves a ship worth 45billion credits.
