Decided I needed a better ref sheet for my main character Thornacious a while ago and have finally finished giving him a full body ref.

did a full body sketch for me which I've edited to get the
finished result you see here

Only real diference in design is his wings are a little thicker =3

Still glad to finally have a half decent full body ref of him

* Things to note on his design are...

Eyes and Scarf are orange

Underbelly scales (yellowish cream) stops at neck **does not go under chin**

Gap between main horns and cheek spikes....**they do not touch**

Cheek begins in front of horns. NOT behind them.

Name: Thornacious (Thor-nay-say-uss) (AKA Thorn)

Age: 24

professions: Warrior/Assassian/Bodyguard

Brief back story

Born to two powerful dragons that protected a small village, Thornacious lived a happy life for nine years with his family.

However one night due partly to his father and mothers belief nothing could harm the village under their protection they underestimated the strengh of a large group of bandits and thieves and could not stop them from destroying the village in an attack at night.

Thorn's father was killed in front of him during the fight whilst he and his mother where taken back to the bandits lair where both where tortured simply for amusement and Thorn's mother was also killed trying to save him.

After being taken to be executed a blessing from his mothers sister cast on his egg to protect him from harm until he was of age allowed to him to kill his would be murderers and escape.

However apon finding the mutilated bodies of his parents the charm that was cast to protect him went horribly wrong, causing his strength and healing ability to increase dramatically but also caused him to briefly lose his mind and in his rage slaughtered every one of the bandits and creatures that had destroyed his family, friends and home.

Alone and homeless he was found by his mothers sister who took it upon herself to help try and raise and train him by taking him to be taught as many skills as possible in order to help him in later life.

At the age of 16 after his Aunt died peacefully of old age, Thorn briefly wandered around the lands for 2 years doing jobs here and there and trying to learn more before being offered the chance to join the agency that proctected the land at the age of 18.

It was here during further training Thorn met his future wife Xena and after a year of training with her and after he was accepted into the agency they eventually mated and after 6 months of marriage Apollo was born and 4 years later their daughter Rose hatched.

They now live happily together in a renovated castle whilst Thorn continues to work for the Agency.

Personality

Normally very very friendly but is quick to temper and gets moody from time to time.

Cares deeply for his family and his friends and is fiercely protective of them especially his children.

Has a short attention span and gets bored rather easily so is normally always on the look out for something fun to do.

Touchy about his past and does not like to discuss it with anyone, including his mate.

Quite immature for his age but can be serious when necessary.

Despite his reputation in work he tends to try not to kill on certain jobs unless given no choice.

Abilities

Main Power: Berserker rage.

Increase in healing abilities, and power of flame.

More or less unstoppable when in full Berserker rage but loses all sense of self and will attack anything in his path be it friend or foe (only Vesper and Xena can safely approach him when he is fully enraged)

Eyes glow orange to show level of rage.

Blood boils to the point of being able to severely burn anyone who comes into contact with it

After calming down leaves him emotionally and pyshically exhausted and weakens all of his abilities leaving him very vulnerable to attack.

Strengths

unnaturally strong for his age and build.

Extreamly fast healing ability, heals small wounds almost instantly and a complete immunity to all poisons, gases etc

A highly skilled and ferocious fighter.

Reputation alone has resulted in the meer mention of him sometimes being enough to deter attackers or make them surrender without a fight.

Able to adjust his body heat to be at a comfortable temperature in any weather.

Weaknesses

Has little control over his fire and only uses it for mundane activities.

Not the brightest of Dragons and prefers to receive orders than give.

Has a psychological need for attention/company.

Witnessing the death of his parents and friends at a young age (9) has left him in constant need of company and becomes deeply depressed if left alone for to long so always needs someone with him.

After calming down from berserker rage he is exhausted and weak and is very very vulnerable to attack due to his healing ability being lessened,

Whilst he can stay awake without rest for about 3 days he will require around 24 hrs solid sleep to recover.

Miscellaneous

Despite the number of ladies that kissed him when he was younger he was too shy to date any of them and before Xena his only girlfriend was Vesper.

Despite his love of Guinness he tries not to drink to much and has a agreement with Xena that he will only get drunk once a month.

As a teenager had no interest whatsover in sex and cared only for kisses.

Whilst younger he firmly believed the reason he was so popular with the ladies is down to the scarves he wears despite being told otherwise. He eventually worked out this wasn't the reason.

Knits his own scarfs.

A very good cook but is rarely allowed to show this skill due to the mess he makes whilst preparing the food.

Got his love of lipstick kisses at the age of 15 after being covered in them by a greatful dragoness after he had saved her egg.

Work partner Vesper is someone he has known since he was 11 years old.

Met his best friend Skidaddles at the age of 14 and the two are still as close as brothers to this day

Devoted to his wife Xena and is noticeably miserable and bad tempered when forced to be away from her.
