Description I decided to try and draw a realisic version of my OC Wayne the Sub-Buizel and this took me 5 days of working on this off and on through out those days to get this done.

With well over 60+ layers and 10,040 pixels worth of detail I am impressed even myself with this finishing results of this drawing. Also noticed when you zoom it you can see almost every detail of fur line I put into it

The Scene I created is of him at the seafront

What I really find appealing in this photo is the bright colors, the wonderful background, and how you showed dimension by shading. That said, it could also use a little bit of work, so I'll be giving you some pointers on how to approve it next time.

The buizel had numerous good points: the back of his head, eyes, arm flap, tails, colors, stomach, shoes, hair, and the shirt. But, some areas that need improvement are the legs, the right arm, the nails, and the nose. To improve the legs, just try to make them a little closer in size. I understand they are from different views, but the one on the right seems a lot thicker than the one on the left. Also, the right arm seems to go in instead of pointing out like an elbow. The nails on the right hand seem slopped on compared to the orange fur that has been so nicely colored. And the nose looks like I'm viewing it from the front, although I'm viewing the whole snout at a 3/4's angle tilting away from the camera. This seems to make the whole snout out of proportion. Try to fix this by making the right side of the nose larger or just cut some of the left side off.

The shading was done very well on the photograph. I really like how the fence was done, they shading made the bars look very nice. Also, the shadow on the ground was done perfectly to match the angle of the sun.

Overall, I liked the picture. I think although it had small areas of improvement, the artist tried their best and completed a good piece.

Bleh. I would really recommend sticking to what you did before and looking up some fur tutorials. Fur isn't about placing lines all over the place. That was a mistake I also made. [link] I just drew lines on the thing to make fur, but after watching this , (I asked Delthero about how she makes fur--don't be afraid to ask people how they do things! They will always be more than happy to share the knowledge with you) I found out how to make it look MUCH better, as shown here (it's easy to see the improvement).

Also, just a few things, there were some other things that you failed at when doing the realism.
1. The nose is lopsided. Be sure to use plenty of refs. [link]
2. The tail is too thin. Make it bushy (unless, of course, you wanted to make Wayne look old. Then you would give it the scrawny look.).
3. Eyes, in real life, are almond-shaped. See that? [link] Also, in animals, almost always the pupil/iris takes up the visible part of the eyeball. So in your realism pictures, especially since most Pokemon are based off of animals, keep the eyes almond shaped and pretty much black.
4. Proportions are really out of funk. Might want to fix that up next time you make a pic.

I really don't want to hurt your feelings, but if I have something to say, I will say it. Just try to follow my advice next time on realism. After all, not everyone that sees your stuff will have the same opinion, and I think it's part of an artist's mission to make as many people as possible happy. (I understand that not everyone will like something, whether it's "holy sheets that's good" or "meh, that's okay". I also understand that not all artists accept this as part of their mindset when making art--some do, some don't. Just saying that before anyone goes ranting at me for stating something.)

All I bloody did was try for the first time on something new and I already got some good advice from Aurag2 how to improve, I rather do things on my own and learn from my own mistakes and that to improve. next time I will do better and improve upon what I have done here.

That is how I always worked, I rather take my time and do things at a paste that I can deal with it and work on it, I have came a long way from five years ago.

Well in the end I liked what I done and know from mistakes I made from it and grow from there. I rather take things at my own paste of time and nothing going to change that.

I will have to see if I get time, I plan to do a drawing of Brian from family guy next then get back to doing my sub-pokemon drawings cause I fell far behind on them... in 5 years in the making of them most of them still on art pad only and not put up on DA.
