I was notified that a few individuals whom (used to?) be very close to me took offense to this photo, and went on a ranting rampage about it, attacking both my artistic integrity, and my character as a human being.
My official response:
1. I will not take this photo down - it is my artwork.
2. Yes, the photo depicts me holding a pistol. Nobody forced you to look at it.
3. No, it is not a real gun. That is a Daisy BB Pistol which I purchased from Wal-Mart for $45. I would have great difficulty injuring, let alone killing, someone with that.
4. As for the title - it's just a title. Get over yourself, you liberal, second-amendment-hating imbeclies.
5. As for my character and artistic integrity - I felt like taking a photo of myself holding a gun. This in no way is to imply that I a) own a gun, b) have shot anyone, or c) am a violent person.
6. In the future, please direct all personal attacks and coloquial "shit-talking" to me directly, in person.
Conclusion: If you disagree with or don't like my photo, feel free to click the close button on your browser. I am not forcing you to look at this, nor do I want you to look at this, if all you are going to do is pass judgement based on it, and bitch about it.
