Some chibi expressions drawn as examples for my beginning anime drawing class; they looked so cute that I couldn't erase them from the whiteboard after class without snapping a picture first, LOL.

One question, do you think it would be possible to show emotion just with changes in the eyes? I'm asking this because I have a school project of doing a plush/robot and only the eyes have a kind of screen.

You're very welcome---I'm still surprised so many people have faved this. XD; I posted it up on a whim, wanting to share some of the stuff I drew in one of my drawing classes...LOL.
You can absolutely show emotion changes just with the eyes!
For example, you can show sadness using only eyes (not even brows) if you slant the top lines of the eyes downward on the outer corners and upward on the inner corners, like this: [link] .
Reverse the way the tops slant and you've got anger: [link]
If the eyes are closed, the slant can still give them emotion--that makes the difference between sleeping peacefully ( [link] ) and smiling with your eyes squinted in happiness ( [link] )

i quit the first year of ciences and technology and going to be an arts student now...
probably i'll follow web designer but i still have to know which subject i need to it (maths or arts' history), i live in an european country so I dont know how things are in california...
either way, i'll be working on anime style and also chibi! i really need to learn, bcuz my drawing skills sucks >.<
