Please read:

• This is not the only way and definitely not the best way to paint eyes. It's just how I happen to do it. Hopefully a few people will find it useful.

• When I began making this a long time ago, it was my intention to do one tutorial that covered the entire eye. However, I quickly figured out that that would be too much information for one sheet. Thus this one only covers the iris and pupil, not the sclera (whites of the eyes) or the eyelids/surrounding skin. If enough interest is expressed, I'll make a Part 2 that covers the rest of the eye.

• Although the painting section referneces Photoshop tools (I use PS CS6), I categorized this under "Other" since the Anatomy & Structure section can apply to drawing/painting in any medium (including traditional) and the swatches can be used in any digital program.

•This tutorial uses a fair amount biology/anatomy as well as physics to explain things. This tutorial could have been ten times as long in order to explain everything completely but is instead my attempt at concise and simple. I'm glad to answer any questions or clarify things if necessary. Just ask.

• If you notice any typos, please let me know so that I can be embarrassed fix it.
