We get a ton of them at my job. They're always flying around outside the warehouse. Very fun to look at and holding them is nice too. They are so very soft.

Szender means: slumber, because these butterfly species are generally active at night and sleep (slumber) by day. Β
This species, hummingbird hawk-moth is in Hungarian: "kacsafarkΓΊ szender", where the "kacsafarkΓΊ" phrase means: duck-tailed. Really. Β
