Winter here was short and heavy and wonderful and now that it's gone I notice I'm longing for ....spring!Or...at least something REAL. Not the rainy something in the middle, but either real winter or...spring!

My grandma used to raise a lot of little ducks and chickens when their own mothers didn't wanted them so the kitchen was always full of those fellas. Really nice closeup!

The first second I saw this picture on full-view, I swear it was like I was thrown back into those awesome spring days when I was in elementary school, playing with my friends in the spring heat, and when Easter and the week leading up to it still had its magic. Seriously, this photograph triggered some powerful emotions/memories.
