Long time no dragons! This piece has been made for the dragon-themed zine "Siarka" which'll be released in my hometown!
I'm really happy with how this picture came out. I've been wondering for a long time which direction my dragons should go design-wise, but in the end I'm happy with playing with scale shapes and inspirations. This drawing also was sort-of a test of what amount of details is enough and when should I just leave the picture be as it is.

Is this out of Anne McCaffrey's "Dragonriders of Pern" novels? The coloring of the dragons says that it is.

I actually haven't read it yet! It's an original work, but I was raised on D&D's classification of dragons, so the fact that I like drawing dragons as colorful and impressive beasts can be partially blamed on it XD
