Description
When you have a horse like my El Diablo galloping around in your head for literally years, there's only so much you can do with him on the racing front.

Eventually, he will be turned out to stud and the mind's eye will turn to his offspring--and the mares that foal them.

This is one of those mares.

Name: Queene (pronounced the same as "queen," just spelled differently)

Build: If equines had a political hierarchy system, Queene would indeed be royalty for looks alone. She has large eyebrow bones and a sweetheart dished muzzle, giving her a beautiful and refined look. She has muscle, but not an overabundance of them. Her tail carriage is slightly higher than average and her legs are straight and well-proportioned. Queene also sports a giant set of lungs set in a large chest and barrel. Her large, doeful amber eyes give her an innocent, darling appearance.

When TJ saw Queene for the first time, it was at Belmont Park as she was being hosed down after winning the final race of her career.

Though it had been a minor allowance race, she had won it with a class and style that caught TJ's watchful eye.

It seemed that Fate had smiled down upon them once again, gathered a bit of her magic together, and plopped the bold bay mare right under their noses.

Queene belonged to BCC Stables three days later.
