Well.. I modified my rig, I made an IK/FK set of controls, to improve it, this looks like it works
The bump is not finished, I spent my last free time on the rigging, so I didn't take the time to finish the bump, but you got an idea of what this will be
I still have to set the wings' membranes as cloth and the model can fly (at the moment, the membranes are not dynamics, that's why I didn't move the arms of the wings).
Bump texture by me (scales effects, etc), basically made for my texture, but this looks good on this one

Made with Maya and Photoshop for the textures.

So... I was right: you are genius! The move of this Night Fury is incredible; this how he looks, somewhere ahead, just like he has heard something interesting there is stunning. It's not a some another fan-art about dragon from movie - it's a professional art-work. Guys from DW should be aware; they have a competitor!

But I think that it's very professional model. Especially a movement smoothness - very realistic. I can wait to see how this Night Fury flies; a dynamic moves of wings are very difficult to animate, but I'm sure that you will make it excellent in every detail! Let you know that it is a real pleasure for me to watch your art-works. Really-really!

Yeah, as I said in the description, the membranes are not dynamics yet, so if I move the wings, the membranes will make some bad movements, I need to set them as dynamic objects to animate the wings too, otherwise, this won't be nice looking.

Actually, it would maybe be hard if you never used the software, but I find my rig pretty good 
Concerning the time it takes.. It depends of your experience, again, but, personally this tooks me approximately 10-20 mins, for ~35 frames (=+1sec), and I admit I didn't animated a lot before this test.
