For me, this is the best page of this comic series so far.
No dialogue. None needed.
The expressions in the three panels tells the viewer everything they need to know.
I especially love the second panel.
Arched eyebrow, eyes cast downward, the half-smile. Small, subtle details all put together to tell a story in that panel.
And may I say that I love this Shepard of yours?
Long hair with thick beards and eyebrows. Awesome.
Also, very impressive work on the lighting here; the shadows in the first panel, the light shining on Shepard's face and hair in the second panel, and the gorgeous morning sky in the third.
This series is getting better and better with every page.
For me, looking at the scenic background in the third panel, this Page 21 may be the one that could be considered where Resurrection Rannoch kicks off and goes from good to great.

Okay this comment made me so happy, not only because I appreciate the kind comments but because I completely agree too. When writing I realised the comic was getting very exposition-y throughout the prologue, so I felt to break up the pace a bit there needed to be a little bit of silence, so I tried my best to express a scene with no dialogue. It seems it worked for the best. :') Thank you so much.
And thank you for the comments on Forest Shepard too. Honestly it took me til this long to realise how I wanted to depict him. I think I've nailed how to draw him at this point. Tried to make him mostly appear gruff and battle hardened on the outside, but with a paragon's heart of gold. Think the thick facial hair helps that contrast.
From here I will focus on pushing the story along without relying too much on having Chatika explain everything or whatever else.

You are welcome. You earned it. To me, when a person puts a lot of effort into writing and/or drawing, they deserve more than just a comment saying "I like it, please make more."

Looking at this page again, I believe I can see that. Forest looks like someone who, while Tali usually brings out the nicer side of him, can be very intimidating when he wants to be.
Looking at the third panel again, a thought came to me; if this story has the possibility of taking a few dark turns; that the decisions and actions that Shepard made during the Reaper War (or before during his campaign against the Collectors) could have consequences that only now, five years later, may come back to haunt him.
Perhaps this current Rannoch may not be the paradise that it appears to be at first glance, like the Citadel (seemingly a safe, tranquil place to be a resident, but has slums, homeless and crime)
A war that ranged throughout the entire galaxy, that ravaged entire planets and star systems, that cost billions of lives and ruined/damaged countless others...there is no way that five years could have been enough to repair it. The galaxy may never fully recover from it.
Most disturbing thought I've had; if Shepard should see her again, the Tali Zorah he knew from five years ago may not be the same person she is now.
Huh. This almost feels like a person who had been imprisoned/trapped for a long time finally being freed and then emerging into a world very different from the one he left behind.
Makes me wonder what kind of nightmares Shepard might possibly have for the rest of his life due to everything he's been through.

Well thank you all the same. I really appreciate it. I do appreciate comments simply stating they enjoy the work but it's very nice to get a critical analysis of the work from someone like you though!
And you're pretty on the nail with certain ideas you shared there, and I do have plans for a number of different plotpoints. Rannoch has undergone a significant change thanks to Geth influence before they were wiped out, which heavily accelerated the process of building a functioning civilization, albeit in the early and somewhat rural stages. But Rannoch has gone untouched by organic life for an incredibly long time. There may be things about the planet that have yet to come to light and the inhabitants may be exposed to things unheard of across the Galaxy. I won't spoil anything too big but there'll will be a whole new threat Shepard will run into that we've never seen before.
