Just his lower jaw. That's all that was needed to convey these emotions. You did not need to have Shepard say anything to make the viewer like him even more.
As before, the lighting is excellent and I love how it is a backdrop to Shepard's face in order to bring out his expressions more.
And of course, there's the small details; the omnitool, the unwrapping paper in the second panel, and the tears in the paper of the snack in the fourth.
Your skill as an artist is increasing at at almost alarming rate.

I really did want to focus attention on Shepard's reaction to the video over having Tali show up right away on the page. Not to say she won't appear... but I felt Shepard and how he feels right now is of more importance than Tali making an appearance off the bat. I'm happy to see that I'm getting this feeling across without any dialogue from him.
Thank you again for your analysis. It's really appreciated. And there are a few issues I personally have with my art that I'm working on fleshing out, namely the way I draw certain facial features and details in clothing. And the depth of indentations and pockets etc. These are things I'll probably be working on on the side between pages, so it's likely the art style will be drastically changing every now and again, for the better of course. At least that will be the intention.

I really like the haggard looks on your characters particuarlly Shepard. The man's not even out of his thirties but something as traumatising as the Reaper war is bound to age someone prematurely. I only discovered this comic yesterday but Im loving it so far. Hope to see more.

Thank you very much.~ I will admit I have a mild distaste for the way both he and Tali were drawn in earlier pages, but I suppose the two of them were in their youth before the immense pressure of the Reapers was put on their shoulders.
