How often do you see a scared face man in an N7 robe? Also I don't know how strong a Krogen's sense of smell is but Shepard would of had to reek of what can only be described as unfamiliar chemicals/anti-biotechs.

I think that's a krogan female. Since the only image we have of krogan females are the kind who are always wearing veils and this is probably what they would look like if they didn't wear the head decorations.
