Description

A pretty simple piece that doesn't really need a big "story so far" thing at the beginning, but two quick clarifications for the curious. First, this duel of the Jesters is pretty standard for any of these guys who find themselves in the same town. They usually end up putting on a cooperative show before it's all said and done, but competitions are almost always a forgone conclusion. Second clarification is Jingles and Arwen's relationship is slightly abnormal for Jesters. They're all casually intimate and instantly friendly with each other, rarely settling down with one in particular. It's not unheard of, but these two being committed to each other is definitely more the exception than the rule. (Which my DM is already using against poor Jingles, but that's besides the point.)
And for anyone really curious, this is all before the campaign starts. Which, of course, means everything got sad and dramatic when the campaign got going. I don't know how I didn't post this here when I originally finished it. But eh. Mistakes happen, just have to correct it.
