Before I explain this piece...I would like to credit 4 individuals who provided unparalleled inspiration to my work....Blizzard1975 (who's photography skills push me to want to be better)
Tiabryn71 (whose grasp of steampunk, Art, concept & design are unparalleled)
minisnatcher (an artist whose attention to tiny painted detail is without comparison)
Sanholo (a creator of artisan crafts that, admittedly, I'm jealous of...I desperately want one of his drivers)
This is my final steampunk piece...I've had an incredibly wonderful time making these--this final "gun" utilizes a standard base, Chinese brass tacking, bamboo belting & leather, Chinese brass hardware (lions, chain & hoops), aged magnifiers & timepiece, bamboo & brass tack suppressor, aged scope & Asian brass ecorners and stained tulip wood...
without ego--I'm proud. Very.
i adore Deviantart for a myriad of reasons..however, these individuals have pushed me beyond appreciation.
