Description Substitute for drawing about any minority, really. Also why "disgruntled viewer" there isn't anyone in particular, it has happened a few times, and since I'm mad, it came up. Thankfully most of my transgendered fans are happy to see the body diversity and have some exposure.

Sometimes art is just art. And artists are just humans - they are not superior beings but they are not the audience's whipping boy either.

HOLY SHIT I'M DRAWING COMICS.

For what it's worth, I like that you're putting exposure out there, too. Your entire gallery is done tastefully, because it doesn't berate people. It's like walking into a mysterious world you didn't know was there before and introduces outsiders to knew ideas and concepts of gender. And it's done so in a way, to me, that almost beckons them. Not like, "This character is nonbinary and you gotta deal with it," but more like, "Come. Look at all this gender diversity. Come explore this hidden world the conscious, waking world doesn't often want you to see." And then you come out feeling more refreshed and enlightened. Or at least you should, the way I see it. *shrug*

Actually I love this and as a TG person I so see the appeal of the middle character.

Thank you!

I always try to have my characters be positive/likeable in one way or another. Besides, if they weren't, I wouldn't care about them I think, and neither would anyone else.

YOUR ART MAKES ME FEEL EMPOWERED AS A TRANSMAN AND I CANNOT EXPRESS THE LEVEL OF THIS WITHOUT CAPSLOCK.

That's a rather handsome transgendered character though, I'm rather fond of them whoever they are or if they're no one at all. You're more likely to come across strangers that get fussy over personal designs than friends I think.

I do meet lots of weirdos but thankfully I have met ten times more friends. And maybe once, a weirdo who turned out to be a friend once we were done snaring at one another :3
I think people in minorities are just sensitive. I could do the same everytime I heard people discussing ADHD superficially because I have ADHD, but I have chosen not to bother and you know what, I am a happier person for it.
I will never understand "gender identity" but I will keep drawing this :rasp:

(the character is probably Zinnober or just my staple blonde muscular dude with vagina that I draw a lot)

I always manage to attract friends with hermaphrodite characters or something similar. I just don't mind too much and I've usually managed to make some weirdos and haters my friends by virtue of patience and nicety. It really is amazing what a person can do just patting a flamer on the back and pretty much asking 'do you feel better now?'

Some people are very sensitive about things. I'm admittedly sensitive about a lot of Hitler jokes because it was a very real and very unfunny tragedy that deal with my motherland's worst history. It doesn't mean I go out of my way to ruin the jokes for other people though, they have a right to laugh at what they want and I understand that some people's tastes vary when it comes to anything. Happiness is no singular definition with anyone, we all have personal views of happiness so do what suits you. <3 I'm actually ADHD too >_o its a real party crasher for any semblance of trying to get work done sometimes and having audio hallucinations is no help either.

Gender identity has honestly never bothered me because I have this glorious ability to not give a flying rat about what gender or splice of genders someone is. I like someone based upon who they are and not what they are. The internet helps a lot with that philosophy but it's nice to know I'm not the only one who'll never understand gender identity XD I always felt like a bit of a dunce on that subject because my view was always 'why do you need gender identity again? Are there still male only jobs?'

(Whoever it is I have the intense desire hug them and play with their hair. Such beautiful hair <3)

HAH I am going to have to try that.

Yes, world war II is taboo for a lot of the people involved, I have noticed.
I get medicine, I think the bad habits remain though. Sleeping 8 hours and eating regularly helps my concentration too.

Oh man that is so very true. And I suppose, post-gendered.

(A character I keep changing a lot because I can't decide on 100 things, but yeah, lots of hair!)

I think just sometimes people are over-analysing and get disappointed when the character wasn't any deeper than what was given.

What's always amazing is I've found that my trans friends don't really give a shit. It's the people trying to be "unique" or take the moral high ground that really care about this shit enough to bother strangers about fantasy elf designs.

You have great friends then. Down-to-Earth people are the best, everyone is unique for the sum of their parts but no one is unique for being one thing.
hah that's the second time today I hear about that moral high ground, a fat lot of good that does anyone.

the best thing about it, is that we can laugh at ourselves. If we take everything seriously then whats the point ? Being transgendered is nothing to be depressed about !! On the contrary, it should be celebrated as fun !!
