PSA: Kohao is pronounced Ko-hay-oh

Kohao had what most would consider a fairly normal childhood. He grew up as an only child in a typical two parent household, and before he started school, things were fine. When he started school, however, things changed. His ADHD and SAD immediately caused problems. He got poor-average grades, usually C or D level. And kids started bullying him. His grades put intense strain on his relationship with his father, and by the time he was 14 screaming matches were common and the relationship in tatters. His mother was distant; loving, but endlessly focused on her careers and education. As such, Kohao became resentful and increasingly isolated. At school, he was picked on for almost everything; his nose, his feminine figure, his introverted demeanor, his bad grades, his clothes, his self harming, etc, etc. And he got angry. He picked up a job as a busboy at a cafe, and used his money to start going to a shooting range. At first, he used it to blow off steam. But as things got worse in his school life, his mind got darker. He started picking up extra shifts at the cafe and selling his ADHD medication to kids at school. Eventually he obtained a fake ID from an other student and frequent buyer. He went to a gun show at age 16, and put all his extra money into a sawed-off shotgun, a Glock, and a Mac-10. Later that school year, he warned his closest (and only) friend, Athena, not to come into school the next day. They'd bonded after she'd fallen out of the "jock" clique due to an eating disorder and been subjected to the bullying that Kohao had suffered from for years. Having watched him grow more and more agitated over the past few months, Athena got nervous, and told her older brother, Sethfire, what Kohao had said. Seth, reading the signs, went into the school the next day, and confronted Kohao and his backpack armory, managing to subdue him. Kohao dropped out, and decided to move in with Seth. His parents never learned about the attempted shooting, and met with Seth only once to ensure he wasn't a predator. They'd long since lost a connection with their son, and really, the inspection of his new living arrangement seemed only superficial. Kohao, under Seth's care, put his anger and sadness into a new outlet; music. He learned to sing and play the guitar, and at his insistence, Athena learned to play the drums. After Anarchy moved in with them and also learned to play, the group began seriously looking into starting a band. Edge Of Infinity became a healing endeavor for everyone as the group grew, and although by no means a worldwide sensation, the gang manages to get by-and live happily-on ticket and merch sales.

-His birthday is July 7
-If you call him "David" he will not respond; he's all but forgotten that it's his "real" name
-Gamer; his favorite video games are Skyrim, GTA, Halo, Morrowind, and The Last of Us
-He's right-handed
-He's supposed to wear glasses, but never does
-He's a pretty good shot, and owns a Glock 19, a MAC-10, a TEC-9, and a Bushmaster XM-15, as well as a Barnett Razr crossbow
-He always carries his Answer F.A.S.T. XL Tanto knife with him
-Plays with fire and knives when bored
-Has insomnia
-Owns a pair of black Heelys because he's a dweeb
-Will wear black rubber merch bracelets from his favorite bands and/or black leather cuff bracelets
-11/16'' gauges, usually wears black plugs

-Often has scabs on the first two knuckles of his right hand
-Struggles with remembering to use an "inside voice"
-Tries not to be an asshole to his religious friends but is a very angry agnostic

-Speaks a bit of German
-Rides a motorcycle
