Description
walking through the fog,
the memories swirl in the wind.
theres a door,
thats just within reach.

and although im here,
and the door is at my fingertips,
the sign says keep out,
and the locks wont crack.

so i turn and i sit.
and i wait,
for the door to open,
slim to none, but im here.

and then out of no where,
the door is flowing free.
banging against the wall,
in the wind of regret.

i take a breath,
and dare to turn my head.
and then i see.
and now i know.

this whole time,
ive been here in distress.
and now you open up,
to a nothingness i cant control.

someone for once i cant help,
my words do nothing,
but cause apologies.
the tears come and i have no power.

so hear i sit,
and im still waiting.
