Personality:

-Restless
Being a breed that was made to work, Tyler finds it extremely difficult to just lay about for a long period of time. He constantly craves for something to do, so if he finishes his work early he tends to wonder off and get into quite some trouble around the farm. Without activity Tyler's mind becomes agitated and with the rest of the farm dogs being rather calm, his only choice is to run through the fields to burn of steam.

-Candid
Tyler speaks what's on his mind, simple as that. He doesn't react if what he says is judged or frowned upon because frankly he just doesn't care. If you want an honest answer, he's the dog to talk to. Along with this he also doesn't judge others and believes there's no need for anyone to be outcasted.

-Commanding
Pushy and dominant are all words that Tyler has been called before. Of course with not many dogs around, these traits don't show as much anymore as when they did in his previous home. Still, Tyler likes things to be done his way, and if he sees someone doing something not to his liking he will tell them otherwise. His brutal honesty also connects to this side of his personality because some of the things he says can come off as rude or harmful.

-Affectionate but sometimes over-bearing
On the opposite side of his forceful nature lies a side of Tyler that is rare to see. The only time to will be him being sentimental is if there's a female of his liking. His personality completely changes when he's talking to someone he likes, turning a bit awkward when he speaks. The only problem is that Tyler becomes very protective of the ones he loves, sometimes to the state of looming over them constantly or even stalking. He will also not hesitate to shred anything that harms someone he likes.

-Defiant
Although the rules of the farm faction are to socialize with farm dogs and farm dogs only, this is not what Tyler has planned. In the dead of night Tyler will sometimes hop the fences into the pet's territory. He enjoys walking down the quiet streets and peeking through windows to see if any other dogs are awake, but at such a late hour he never has any luck. He enjoys the rush of doing what is forbidden and probably won't stop even after he's caught. You could even call him a Junkyard Dog at heart because of his attitude, but he wants a purpose more than to live in the dumps and believes in a higher calling for himself.

Other Specific Traits:
Is very careful and considerate around children, and will protect them at any cost.
Isn't afraid to get down and dirty, but enjoys being cleaned.
Tolerates dog food, but prefers the taste of fresh meat.
Helps to move hay in the barns by using an old wooden sleigh that he gets harnessed to.
Pre-Group History:
Tyler was born a long ways away from Canidale, in the busy rural area of New York City. He was given to his owners, a husband and wife, by a breeder who delivered a healthy batch of 5 puppies. Since he was taken away so early, Tyler doesn't remember his siblings or what his parents look like. As he grew the energetic husky was forced to lived in a cramped city apartment where he couldn't run or play due to the expensive furniture. Along with the high-class decor Ty was given a golden chain collar, why such a silly thing was around his neck he'll never know. As his owners went off to work Tyler was stuck inside his small living space, agitated and yearning to run. The humans only took him to the park maybe once a week and soon hardly at all due to such little time they had, and frankly they didn't care.

When Tyler reached about a year and a half, his owners moved to a city not far from Canidale for better jobs. Tyler was ecstatic to move away from the city, but his heart sunk when he realized they were moving into yet another busy urban area. The fact that all he could to was lay around all day was driving Ty insane, and to the point where he was snapping at his owners. On a cold Autumn night Tyler snuck out of his tiny home through the window his humans left open on the first floor on their small house. Not looking back, the red husky felt the happiest he's ever been running free through the streets for several days. Some time later Tyler found himself entering the farmlands of Canidale, intrigued by the vast running space along with a few large houses here and there accompanied by big red buildings and animals he's never seen before. A brisk dawn was approaching in October, and Tyler finally made the decision to pad up to a white Folk Victorian house that had a large red barn and another smaller one in it's fenced area. With a few loud barks, the door opened to two squealing little girls along with their parents. From the second he saw them he felt a warmth emit from the family, and he was happily accepted into their home as a working farm dog.
