Description
This is an animation showcasing the "standing" frames for a boss version of the character Ophelia Ramirez as she appears in my Wolfenstein Mod: Guns and Glory 0.5: The Story Retold.Ophelia Ramirez is from the relatively short-lived (only three seasons) television program: The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, and is one of its recurring characters. Ophelia acts more as a recurring character, mostly for comedic effect but she is sometimes involved as the center of certain episodes. Since she is not usually involved in the main action (which involves fighting) Ophelia's fighting skills are questionable, thus she can serve better as an enemy (albeit a weak one), though she does serves as a boss as well, in this case, being forced to fight by a very distinguishable pair of mechanical pants.
I decided to include her as a boss because she's my favorite character in The Life and Times of Juniper Lee (a fact that can be proven simply by browsing the rest of my gallery).
This animation shows Ophelia standing in the Techno Trousers from all sides. Although there are indeed frames from all sides, it is unlikely that the player will be able to observe these frames, due to the fact that because of the circumstances of the level, Ophelia will always see the player before the player sees her and will initiate her introduction frames before they can observe her standing in place.
This animation is a recreation of the scene from Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong Trousers where Wallace experiences the same circumstances. Ophelia, likewise will experience the following events first hand which is how she is forced into being a boss in my mod (with the self-proposed aid of another boss on the same level).
Unlike her enemy varient, Ophelia is a bit more "mature" in these frames than in her enemy frames. I made these changes so that she was somewhat distinguishable from her enemy varient, and so that she would otherwise appear more in place inside the Techno Trousers that she'll be occupying throughout the level.
These sprites were originally started on 2/7/2010, and the full set was finished on 11/7/2010. That's quite a gap, I know, but there were large periods of time when I was not working on the sprites at all so the time gap makes sense. Also, there was a time-warp thing involved...
I had alot of fun making these and hope that everyone can enjoy them as well!
