Description
This is a late birthday gift for my awesome, amazingly belovedYeah.. because her birthday was exactly one week ago.
Synopsis:
The beautiful goddess seems having a birthday buffet with a couple of tiny men.. but something tells me that she will be the only one that will enjoy the meal. ^O^
Note:
Just to give some numbers about this panorama picture: it is made of 150.000.000 of rendered pixels that took to my old MAC more than 100 hours of continuous rendering time.. plus other hours for the post production stuff.
PS: Angle, sweetie.. I'm sorry to have been so late.
I hope you will enjoy this gift, even if unfortunately it took me more time than what I have planned..
PPS: 2 cents for your thoughts people.

I don't know what program you use to render your art, but in blender for instance all you do is change the camera type to equirectangular.
Where ever the camera is located in the render is where the viewer will see from.
Then just save the picture it creates when you render it. It should look like a weird stretched out version of what you made, kind of like it is showing what is all around you but in a 2D way. I have a link to an equirectangular someone had made for me down below. There should be a youtube video on how to change the camera type to equirectangular.
When the picture is opened through a virtual reality image viewing app, the app does all the work for you and takes the equirectangular panorama jpeg and stiches it together into a sphere.
The viewer see's from inside the sphere and everything looks fantastic!
So actually the cool thing is if any artist still has there original render, they will be able to make it virtual reality compatible!!!!!!
Like literally every render that has ever been created could be a VR EXPERIENCE! HAHA! ITS AWESOME!
Here is a link to another artists work that they made into an equirectangular jpeg for me.

If you put in the title or tags VR 360, all of us VR enthusiasts will be able to find your work.
Right now VR 360 videos are all the rage on youtube, so much in fact that youtube has it's own filter for 360 degree videos and hundreds if not thousands of videos now that you can view in your google cardboard headset(a very cheap starting point in VR, but WELL WORTH THE MONEY headset made by google)
All you do is download an app that can view VR pictures such as Full Dive(what I am currently using) or which ever of the many apps you want to try out.
Drag and Drop the file onto your phone
open the picture in the app
view it on your headset
it is that simple.
Just make sure your phone has a gyro though, most new phones have one.
I am currently using a samsung galaxy s5 for example, and I know Iphones have them as well.
If you are not sure if yours has one, just go to youtube, type in 360 degree video, or select the filter in the filters menu to only see 360 videos and some should pop up. when you turn your phone around in the room the video should be moving around as well as if you were looking around in it. If it does not, either your phone does not have its gyro activated or your phone does not have one.
Any way PLEASSSEE IF YOU WOULD! I MUST SEE THESE PANORAMAS IN VR!! HAHA!! Its just so awesome! It really is a dream come true!

Okay, I learned how to do that with my software, it's even easier and faster than doing it in the way I usually did.
I'm trying to make a sample right now.. and I'm wondering if by using this technique it could be possible to make 360 Stereoscopic pictures as well.
Thanks for the hints.

DUDE EPIC!!!!
I would really love to see this panorama and your other one with the people getting crushed underfoot converted to an equirectangular as well. All you do is open up the original work(the files that you have the ability to edit the scene) and change the camera type to equirectangular.
And dude I can't wait to see what new work you create as well!
I am extremely passionate about VR!
I know I will be working on creating some work soon as well!
Maybe under a new pen name, something more catchy haha!

I know how to do them, the problem is that I don't think I still have the old files.
Don't worry, I'll do some Panoramas with this technique sooner or later, for now I wish you a good work for your own panoramas.

Ohhh haha, I feel ya man. It happens.
But dude yea it will be a while on mine, my PC is not very powerful. I need to get me a new desktop.
But in the mean time I definitely will be working on some.
Dude have you tried out any VR headsets yet?

I have a favor to ask!
It is about virtual reality!
If you convert this to an equirectangular jpeg (a type of panorama)
then I can view this on my virtual reality headset!
it is super easy!
I had gotten another artist to convert his to equirectangular and the results were amazing!
Simply FLAWLESS!
I WOULD SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOVE TO SEE THIS IN VIRTUAL REALITY!
I SO SO MUCH HAAVE TO SEE THIS IN MY VIRTUAL REALITY HEADSET!

I use "pano2vr". It makes panoramas out of a serie of pictures made in a certain way.

cool can you help me create picture like this?

It's quite long but easy.. you seem quite skilled with 3D art, so you should not have problems.
What you need to know is that you have to place the camera in the center of your scene and then you have to render 6 pictures (front, back, left, right, top and bottom) with a camera that has horizontal and vertical field of view of 90 degrees.
Finally you have to use pano2vr to turn the pictures into a panorama. look here: blogs.adobe.com/indesigndocs/2…

Awesome , thank you , actually i was looking for an option to create "spherical" / "HDRI" renders with cinema 4D oO
means i wanted to put a chrome sphere in the middle of my scene and then "Bake" the enviroment directly on the sphere oO
your suggestion makes sense too , hmmmm to bad im rendering stuff actually, beed to wait one more hour
well i really adore your work , and thank you for the support

O_O awesome work!!!!!
If you ever feel like doing something like this again, could you make one without the tinies?
It's not a request or anything, just saying, if you ever feel like it... I know it's very time consuming.

Well.. It would be quite strange for me to make something not GTS related.
Anyway, thanks a lot for the compliments.
