You only knew about the auction through my off-site post and by that point the auction was already well underway, I hadn't even put up an autobuy price at that point.Β I haven't been onto my PS account at all today so if you sent me more mail I haven't seen it, which I will not apologize for because I've got stuff to do and don't spend all my time there. I'd have replied to you had I seen it.
Auctions are fair in that it is whoever gets in first wins. I'm sorry if that discourages you but those are the rules of all auctions. If I were to change the AB price because you offered me more, my integrity as a salesperson would diminish and others would be reluctant to adopt from me in the future. If this bothers you then by all means, don't bid on my auctions but please do not complain about fairness when it is out of my hands.

Why should I check PS more often when I have other obligations beyond my computer? The rules of my auction are clear and I check back to it periodically. I have no obligation, however, to log into PS. YOU could have noted me here if you had not received a reply in a timely manner. The AB price is something I determine by how the bidding progresses, it will be higher or lower depending on what others are pushing it towards. It's my way to gauge how much to charge and I do not have to post one for your or anyone's convenience.
Maybe in the future I will put a set AB price but as I've not done many adopts in a while I'm testing the waters with what I've got. Β All auctions function on a first come first serve basis and had you the intent to blow everyone else out of the water the [note] button is on my front page and accessible. If you continue to rudely complain about how auctions work and that I didn't cater to you, I will block you from purchasing them in the future.Β

Only if the AB price had been announced. I'm sorry that you weren't online to get it before someone else AB'd it but there's nothing I can do about the difference in timezone that we operate in. As I said, you can always get a custom or you can wait for more auctions. In the future I will try to have an AB price set up but this one is out of my hands.
