Restitched this from Ralina Freebie Blog but changed it a bit. Instead of stitching it all one colour I decided to stitch all the hearts in red, was a bit of a nightmare as I didn't want the red to be too dark or too light......finally found a red that worked well with the colour thread used for the White Rabbit.Stitched on same fabric as the monochrome one (from local furnishing fabric shop) and used DMC 3064 again for the White Rabbit with DMC 817 for the hearts.
Will probably make this into a small cushion

One of my favourite books, Alice in wonderland. Everything in it is surrealist. It has its own universe. It´s a good interpretation. I ´ve just realized that the White Rabbit worked for the Queen of Hearts. I always think in Walt Disney version in which he hasn´t wear an "uniform".

There's so many ideas you could work on from Alice in Wonderland that you'd end up with loads of stuff and probably take a few years to get through, also each persons interpretation on it can be sooooo different. There's several more from Alice in Wonderland coming up 😀

It amazes me how people can interperate the same part of the story so differently from each other and still keep to the story
