I agree that The Universe (my term for God) forgives EVERYTHING, and so non-hetrosexuality should be no exception. I do not think we should place judgement on others when we ourselves do not know the truth for certain. It is to the omniscient and omnipotant Universe.

Also, I didn't think the WHOLE purpose was to convert people - I thought it was what a group who followed certain teachings but preached as a sort of add-on. Taught in the bible as spreading the word but not the whole point.
I view the concept of preaching that your belief is THE belief to be an extremely arrogant one. I respect the Christian belief and am not making any of these judgement upon you. I only mean it in general.

Okay, this is all cool and all, but I don't really feel as though you are really being accepting of others here. You make it sound as if you still think it is an abomination, but can be forgiven. People shouldn't need to feel like they need to be forgiven. I understand you have your beliefs and I completely respect your views, but you should learn to just accept them and not think of them as sinners. The Bible also says that women aren't to teach a man or speak to a man, but rather be silent. Yet I doubt that you are against women being teachers or wives asking their husbands to do them a favor. The point I am making here is that you can't hold EVERYTHING the Bible says to be 100% necessary anymore, it's a 2000 year old book for goodness sake. You are right though, people need to just mellow out about the whole "gay people" thing.
