At first, I heard the rumbling. From the south, an even and deep THUD. It only grew louder. The cheers of the stadium died down, everyone was silent and confused. Then the people at the game began to scream. I heard them all the way from my vantage point, and then a great shadow loomed over me. A shoe appeared overhead, the sole of a Doc choked with debris. How many cities had she destroyed on her way here? I shuddered as the shoe found its mark. Part of me wanted to do something, but I knew it was too late. The toes came crashing down on the skyscrapers, as if they were made of sand.

All around smoke and dust and sirens permeated the air. The shoe came down with a thunderclap, I could see the shockwave exit along the earth. Dust scattered over me, but I held firm. I had to bear witness to her destruction as she demanded. In mere minutes the skyline was gone, some treadmarks serving as grave markers for untold millions. After she was satisfied, I saw her change direction. I was so scared she would destroy me too... Instead, she took one step into the still-screaming stadium. Gone. Dust and wind and death. A sickening crunch emanated from the valley, one step turning so many to blood and rubble. I watched as she took her leave, moving again to the south.
