He reminds me of a combination of Pitch and Morpheus from the Sandman comics. I like the small detail of the jewelery to off set all the shades of black to grey.

This started as a doodle of his face and then it just kind of grew from that so the clothes isn't something I put much thought into or anything, so I'm glad you liked it even if it's not his usual outfit!
