I couldn't help it. It's already well known I have a character hoarding problem XD
Here's Jedediah, or Jed. He's an Anatolian Shepherd/

Color: Jed is a fawn coloration, with lighter fur along his chest and belly, toes and back of his legs, as well as the underside of his tail. A black mask, as well as black ears, adorn his face.

Personality: Loyal/Protective | Selfless/Giving | Serious/Stern | Naive/Too Trusting

Loyal/Protective: Like most dogs born on the farm, or any farm, Jed is extremely loyal to those who work by his side and those he works for. He takes his job seriously, seeing it as not a job but a lifestyle. Slacking isn't in his genetic coding and Jed would work until his paw pads bled if that's what was asked of him. In his breeding, the need to protect those around him (be it livestock or those who share his home with him) is at its fullest. If you're apart of his 'family', Jed would lay down his life to protect you should you need it, and to him, everyone needs some sort of protective from something.
Selfless/Giving: Jedediah doesn't believe in 'looking out for numero uno', he believes in helping those who call the farm home with whatever it is they need, even if it isn't his job. It's very rarely that you hear the male say 'no' to someone asking for his help or for a favor. While this more times then not ends up with him holding the short end of the stick, it never seems to bother him because he continues to do it. While it's easy to walk all over him because of this, Jed doesn't hold any resentment to those who seem to take advantage of his need to help and give.

Serious/Stern: While he's a kind soul, he often comes off as a little too serious or stern. He simply finds his job to be serious work and is extremely dedicated to his task. Just because he is normally seen with a furrowed brow, or slight down turn of his mouth, Jed is normally always happy and in a good mood. He's told a lot that he 'looks angry' and he never really understands why. After all, it's rather hard to look at yourself 24/7 and see that you're constantly frowning. He's good with a joke or a romp around the farm, but as soon as work is needed Jed stops what he's doing immediately to see to the task. He doesn't tolerate lazy dogs, and won't hesitate to speak up and say something about it, even if it isn't his place to do so.
Naive/Too Trusting: The big male can often times be extremely naive and way too trusting of his fellow canines. He wants to believe that there is good in every dog, even those outside of his farm home, and this often lands him in situations that don't normally have a good outcome. Despite this happening and his friends telling him so, Jed continues to try to see the silver lining in these situations, and continues to believe that not every dog is a bad dog.

Pre-Group History: Jedediah was born on a farm far from Canidale and known for his sheep and alpaca. The humans who ran the farm were well known for their Anatolian Shepherds and their use of them as herding and guard dogs. Since coyotes and strays were a big issue with their flock, the humans opted for a breed that was both able to handle itself, and yet wasn't known for its bad or ill temper.
Jed was the middle pup in a litter of five, and also the only male. He was raised by his mother for the first six months of his life, and taught kindness and selflessness along with his sisters. While his father thought he should be out learning the hard lessons of life and labor, his mother was worried that Jedediah would grow up without any empathy or kindness in his heart as was the way with a lot of working dogs whose whole lives became the job.

When he was six months, Jed was sold to a neighboring farm. It was hard for him to leave his family, but his sisters were being sold off and it was simply his time to move on. He took the lessons his mother taught him with him through the years, and while he had to toughen up and learn the trade of being a shepherd and a guard dog, Jed never lost his soft side.

In Jed's fourth year, the farmer began to grow ill. The winters were too hard on him and his wife in their old age, and caring for their livestock just wasn't as easy as it had been in their youth. They decided under much duress to sell the farm as well as their livestock. While the woman wanted to keep Jed and their other dogs, they talked about it and both knew that they simply wouldn't have the room or means of caring for them where they were going. Each dog was sold off, Jedediah ending up on a quaint farm just on the outskirts of Canidale. He isn't sure what the world has in store for him just yet, but at least he's somewhere he can be beneficial to, a place that was in his blood from the start.
