Description
One of four MHA OCs currently planned out. This was actually my third idea, but I chose to draw her second (The first was a vigilante that probably won't be released).

Name: Joо̄ Bachi (Queen Bee)

Namesake: From the insect in question. She's a queen because she can sting multiple times.

Hero Name: Apis, the Queen Bee Heroine.

Hero Namesake: Apis is the first part of the honey bee's scientific name, Apis cerana.

Age: 15

Affiliation: UA

Quirk: Queen Bee (No, really?).
Mutation Quirk
She has the stinger, wings, and antennae of a queen honey bee. What differentiates her from a worker honey bee or a drone is that she's female (drones are male), and her stinger isn't barbed, so she can sting multiple times. She doesn't really like to use her stinger due to its length (it's as long as a dagger).
Her antennae, much like a traditional bee's, which increases her senses of smell and hearing. By making contact with other objects using her antennae, she can also sense vibrations in the ground. She can also use her antennae to communicate with other bees.
She can fly, obviously.
She's capable of seeing radiation in the ultraviolet spectrum, and has somewhat polarized vision, making light glare less of a problem.
However, her Quirk isn't without problems.
Being part bee, she unwillingly attracts the natural predators for honey bees, who see her as essentially a giant snack.
She can only fly for a few minutes before she tires herself out. That time decreases if she's carrying something heavy, and even more so in unfair weather conditions.
Her antennae are extremely sensitive, in all definitions. Grabbing one of them would be like groping a woman's breasts. It's also fairly easy to overwhelm her senses.
Blood type: AB.

Ethnicity: Eurasian (Specifically, her father's Japanese and her mother's British.)

Personality

Personality: Bachi is kind of a punk. She's has blood knight tendencies and is a bit of a jerkass, although not to the same extent as Bakugo (She really finds him unpleasant to be around), and tends to have trouble realizing when she can't win a fight. She's also pretty pessimistic, but not cynical. She tends to break minor laws, although she knows when to draw the line. She's not a delinquent, damn it. She's also a bit of a drama queen, and tends to exaggerate details to stories. She's also a bit of a serious introvert, despite talking to other people pretty frequently. However, she's compassionate, and is aware enough of the world around her to notice when something's going wrong or when someone's on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and will try to offer some sort of comfort to help alleviate their stress. She has a fear of thunder, although it's partially justified in that bad weather severely hampers her ability to fly.
She has an extreme preference to sweet foods and candies, mainly honey-based treats. Again, being part bee, it's justified. She also happens to have a bit of fourth wall awareness.
Her mood tends to change depending on the weather. If the weather's too cold, she's highly irritable, and tends to lash out. If the weather's too hot, she's lethargic and tends to overeat. If the weather's just right, then she's fairly reasonable and good natured, if still somewhat irritable.

Flaws: Several of her flaws were stated above, so I'll just summarize those. She has a fear of thunder, or extreme weather changes that prevents her from flying. She's fairly pessimistic, and is quite the blood knight. Although she can understand other people's emotions, she has trouble understanding her own emotions, which clouds her mind and judgement. Her fighting pattern is also extremely predictable (Circle the enemy, dive bomb to punch, kick, or sting, repeat).
As for physical flaws, she can only carry so much before she tires herself out. She (embarrassingly) also can't swim. On top of that, she's not very good at hand-to-hand combat. She relies on her wings and stinger to give herself a combat advantage.
On a completely situational and unrelated note, Africanized honey bees will ignore her, and sometimes even attack her.

Strengths: Again, she can fly. Can't stress that enough. Up to 45 miles per hour, which is faster than an average bee can fly (Granted, she is also larger, and has a wider wingspan). And despite somewhat lacking in strength, she can still carry up to twice her body weight while flying, if only for a few minutes. Additionally, as mentioned above, she's capable of reading emotions like a book, and is very genre savvy. Being able to communicate with bees also has it's good sides, as that means she technically has eyes everywhere. Bachi can also tell entire swarms to get lost, and they'll buzz off. She's also very confident in her abilities, and tends to fall more into good over lawful (meaning that she's willing to break the law to do the right thing, unless it's a major law.)

Her stinger's venom is nonlethal, meaning that if she's careful, she won't kill anyone she stings, if she so chooses to use her stinger. Instead, her apitoxin causes swelling of whatever limb she stings. Stinging also releases a pheromone that attracts bees to attack whatever she just stung.

Fears: Unfair weather (Hampering her Quirk), hornets and other bee predators, rapists.

Desires: To be among the best heroes in the world. Not necessarily the best, but somewhere up there.

Likes: Honey, bees, sunlight, flowers, takoyaki.

Dislikes: Being bored, hornets, insecticide, birds, rapists, villains, Bakugo.

Backstory: (Work in progress).

Why she wants to be a hero: Simple. Bachi wants to protect others for the sake of protecting others, even if it puts her in harm's way. That, and she just doesn't want to live a boring life.

Her view on All Might: She sees him as what he is. The best of the best, and the paragon of heroism. She wants to be as much as a fifth of the hero he is.

Misc: She got her scar in an accident when she was first making her honey candies. She tells people to not worry about it too much.

Hero Costume: A brown aviator jacket with a yellow scarf, black cargo pants, black boots, and yellow gloves. She also wears a WWII Pilot's Hat.

Hero Outfit Inspiration: Funnily enough, Spider-Man Noir.
