◣ A b o u t ◥███ Short Introduction
Samuel Delvin (サミューウル・デルビン, Samiyuwaru Derubin), also known as Baron Samedi (バーロン・セメッディ, Baron Samedezui), is a student in class 3-A at Akuyaku Academy, training to become a Pro Hero. He is a secondary character.

███ History
Samuel Delvin is from Lousiana. Not New Orleans, but fairly close. When he was younger, he spent most of his time cheating people out of their money by being a snake-oil merchant and running scam "test your luck" games. After he discovered his Quirk, his dad started doing tarot cards, and Samuel also got interested. Since most people in the modern day and age don't understand voodoo, Samuel started asking for something small, like a single hair, and making fortunes using tarot cards. If the fortunes came out bad, then, later in the day, he would use a needle and the hair he collected to injure the customer later. He charged a fairly high price, and while he's behind the injuries, the money is legit for those that got good futures. He wears his Villain costume when doing business, and his normal attire when not running his fortune-telling shop. Eventually, he decided to start moving on to drug dealing, making and distributing cocaine. He became a cocaine kingpin at age 10.
Unfortunately, he got a little too cocky, and tried the voodoo trick on someone familiar with voodoo. It didn't take that local very long to realize what Samuel was doing, and he was reported. Samuel's business partner on the drug side also ratted him out and disappeared, forcing Samuel to leave the country. He fled to Japan. He was 14 at the time, and he took some of his money with him.
When he moved to Japan, he set up a sort of "curiosities" shop, with a similar tarot cards readings set-up, and he also sold American merchandise. He had a license to marketing, after all, and he wanted to use it. He only spoke basic Japanese, but it got the job done. He was foreign, after all. He got into an argument with a Villain named Mr. Compress about Samuel stealing his look, but other than that, the business went fine, and he managed to continue his scams. For a while.
He also had an extremely near-miss encounter with Stain, but he wasn't the target. He just saw Stain kill a Hero, and fled before Stain saw him.
After a while, Samuel decided to start rebuilding his cocaine business in Japan. Specifically, Musutafu. He started making cocaine again, but this time, he would sell personally. He was still making bank through this.
However, his last to-be customer was a young woman. She brought her baby with her. Said baby was covered in burn marks. She was smoking. She extinguished her cigarette using her baby as an ashtray. Samuel forsook the deal and tried to save the kid. This got him arrested, although most charges were reduced or dropped under the circumstances, and he was sent to Akuyaku Academy instead of Tartaros, so he could learn to direct his Quirk at only Villains, and not use it against civilians. He learned better Japanese there. He's somewhat upset that no one can understand what he's saying anyways, although he understands that they teach English, not Cajun English. He decided to roll with it; the woman really opened his eyes to the amount of harm he potentially caused.
He's been there for three years now. He's part of the Academy's Big Three.
◣ A p p e a r a n c e ◥

███ Appearance
Samuel has caramel skin and black hair. His right eye is missing and those eyelids are stitched over. His left eye is a golden yellow. He also has some scar tissue in some areas.

His casual outfit is a tattered black jacket, a green long-sleeve shirt, and brown pants. All of his clothes are slightly loose and baggy, too. He wears an eye patch over his right eye socket and carries around a cane. He also wears brown shoes.

His Hero Costume is based on his old Villain outfit from back in the USA: A tattered black tailcoat, green vest underneath, and a brown pair of pants similar to the one he wears in his casual outfit. He also wears a big black top hat with a cross on one side and a purple feather on the other. He wears face paint to look like the stitched-on features of a voodoo doll, and doesn't have his eye patch on. He also wears a pendant with the Loa Baron Samedi's veve.
███ Personality
Samuel Delvin came from the bayou. He's a showman, he's charismatic, and he's very willing to get his hands dirty. He's great at playing with people's expectations, and is great at making himself look like a charlatan so people ignore him. But don't take him for a fool. Sam can be really intimidating if need be, especially if he's pissed off. It's not easy to piss him off, and he enjoys the thrill of the chase. But welsh on a deal, and he will get even. One way or another. He's also a bit of a coward. If the going gets tough, Samuel gets going. At least, going to gather some sharp objects to serve as extra needles.
He speaks mostly Cajun English, with some Japanese thrown in so other people that don't speak English can catch up.

Sam is a little too much of a showman. He often tends to give away his cover and tactics if it makes for a phenomenal entrance. He's on the extremely fragile side of durability, and is on the weak side of strength. His lack of understanding Japanese makes it hard for him to communicate with others. Not that he cares. You don't need two people to read tarot cards.

However, he's learned the art of conning people. After some time going to Akuyaku Academy, he's used his talents to recognize when people are trying to cheat him out of a deal through their actions and/or wording. He can recognize when a game at a casino is rigged through the faintest of social cues. He can tell if he's being deceived by glossing over a written contract. He's also really good at fencing, and he can use his needles as rapiers. He's also surprisingly fast, to make up for his lacking physical strength.

Overall Abilities: Samuel's a great fencer, by virtue of using his needles like rapiers. He may be a bit weak, but he's also pretty damn fast.

Contortionist: Samuel's a contortionist. He can bend his spine the other way, as well as his elbows. Great for avoiding attacks and generally unnerving his opponents, as well as fitting in unconventional hiding spots.

███ Quirk
Pincushion (ピンクッション, Pinkutsushiyon): He's a living voodoo doll. When he stabs himself, people feel pain in the corresponding region. Say he stabs himself in the knee. His target will feel pain in their knee. This Quirk's effect is only triggered when someone's DNA winds up on the needle he stabs himself with. However, these can block joints and limit movement temporarily. His joints also go numb when he stabs them, and he's not immune to diseases that can enter his body when he stabs himself.

While he can control where his targets experience pain, he cannot control how much pain the target undergoes. Say he stabs himself in the heart. Samuel will either cause the target's heart to skip a beat, a heart attack, or make the heart explode like what the Medic did to Heavy's heart. Because of this, he mainly goes for limbs.
Moves:
Voodoo Limb: After getting some of the target's DNA (Blood, saliva, hair, etc.) on a needle, he stabs himself in a limb to cause harm to the target.
Voodoo Organ: Same as the above, except stabbing himself in an organ instead of in a limb. This is seldom, if ever, done, due to having a higher chance of killing someone.
