KKD (Pre-2017): Moving onto the next world, Hinata and I found a world that looked very similar to the world of Kamen Rider Ryuki. 2002? Check. Japan? Check. Mirror Dimension with Riders fighting each other? Check. Not sure how I could see through to this world, but I did. I was able to use one of my Rider belts to transform into a duplicate of Kamen Rider Decade and leaped in to help. Though I noticed a new trio of Riders who seemed to be the main heroes who had the advantage. The first was an aerial Rider who was clearly based on Rodan, firing off actual fire blasts as his red form kept to the air while holding a blaster. The second was one with a rapier fighting with grace like Femme, but used magic and abilities similar to Mothra, managing to take on some of the random monsters in the area. The most noteworthy of them was one who looked like Godzilla, complete with a Strike Vent style arm cannon based off the Kailua’s head, and even an axe with one of the King of the Monsters’ dorsal plates as an axe blade. Though he did seem to struggle with this King Ghidorah/Odin hybrid, which gave me a chance to help. GojiRider was a great ally, but I made sure he got the final blow. Not sure what happened since we left, but I feel we’ll be seeing this Rider again soon.

KKD (Present Day): Having previously worked on Rider designs for Kamen Rider Hero and some other stuff, this felt like going back to basics and some familiar territory. Even then, I wanted to add some unique changes and make it feel like it could still fit in the Kamen Rider multiverse. Some gradients were used here and there, but I decided to use Godzilla's actual scale colors for the base suit and go for a Monsterverse King of the Monsters poster series of blues for everything that wasn't silver or the gold that was a stylized Godzilla head. Also, I know people have created a Kamen Rider version of the big G before, but I felt I could pull a twist with my take on the character. Sure, this location no longer exists or is being taken down as of the time I am writing and posting this, but it fit this period to Tokusatsu in my humble opinion. Also, I may or may not have added some Mandolorian helmet inspirations when finding other helmets to model this one after. Let me know what you think in the comments below and if I should expand on possible Riders based on other Kaiju down the line outside of Amalgam-April.
